I have been reading a ton on Chrome OS.
It seems to me that no one at all likes Chrome OS, well I do. It may not be something I would use, but it’s new.
At first people didn’t like Twittter, just because it was something new and different. Well that’s what Chrome is. It is new and different. No company has ever made a OS based on the cloud. Cloud computing is where all of your data is stored off site.
This first run at Chrome OS won’t come close to beating Snow Leopard or Windows 7. It isn’t that good. Rather, Chrome OS brings this new idea to the table, cloud computing.
Microsoft and Apple better become nervous, Google will do something more with this cloud computing idea. Chrome OS will not be used by many, but it opens up a lot of opportunities for Google to keep building.

I have installed Chrome OS on one of my netbooks and the performance of Chrome OS is just okay. there is nothing fancy or very special about it. It was just a sort of GUI version of linux or something.

Chrome OS is just another rebranded Linux GUI, it would be much better if Google came up with an OS that would directly compete with Windows.

i installed Chrome OS on two of my netbooks. the Chrome OS works great and its loading time is very fast too.
